    Hi Allen, I like the overall setting here, and I can see things that would have greatly improved this image.

    1. Moving to your left and to have the Pelican aligned in the sun's reflection on the water.
    2. Darken the silhouette to make more of a silhouette.

    I realise you cant change point 1, but maybe next time.

    Very nice Allen. I agree with Stu's observations, but I do like what you have captured here. Beautiful light showing the unmistakable shape of the pelican. Well done

    Lovely frame Allen. Excellent 'feel' to this image and you've handled the difficult light well. I note this was taken on a foggy morning but not sure if there was much fog around the pelican or foreground... if so, I guess that's why the pelican and perch isn't black. Not an issue for me though. Thanks for sharing
