Wow thats pretty cool Issac. I like the BG colours blending with the FG which shows the bird real well. Pretty pose on the bird with nice feather detail. Fab colours throughout. Not sure if the reflection adds or not, I suppose its a matter of taste.
Well captured.

Hi Isaac,
Beautiful light and POV and a great looking juvie. They always look so fresh and clean.
Great BG colors and layers.
I feel like this needs a hint of CW rotation when I look at the water line. But if you did that the BG layers might look a bit askew.
I am OK with the reflection - just wish it was a bit clearer. Good call on keeping it in as you need it to balance the image,
Gail

All around a lovely image. You have terrific feather details and colors, and I like the layers.

Lovely light and colors, good exposure on this juvie. I agree about the rotation - both in that it seems to be needed because of the apparent focal plane on the water, and that it might be detrimental to the layers.

I see what Gail means, but I'm sure she means counter-CW. Excellent details, great colours, well balanced composition. I'm Ok with the reflection as well.

Isaac, very cool shot, just needs a bit of CCW rotation, great color palate and details.

Very good image. It might require some rotation but i am not sure about it. I would remove those 2 white spots on the water, one on the left side and the other on the right. I am fine with the reflection.

Yes to CCW. Love the image and the colors. No worries at all on the rotation as you can easily fill in the added skinny triangles of missing color. Actually, the colors in combination are stunning. If it were mine (and I wish that it were) I would have hoped for about a 1 - 2 degree head turn toward me.
Hope to see you this week. With love, artie

Thanks for all of the feedback guys. Not sure how I missed the rotation but thanks for the eagle eyes everyone. I have made the correction on the original. Artie I have at least a hundred shots of this bird in all different poses. Even have it taking a bath and splashing all over the place. The light and colors in all are just to die for. At some point I will process a few more. I will see if I have others with just a touch more of a head turn as well.
