    I'm not sure what type of gull this is. Gonna guess herring gull or great black backed gull. Image adjustments in Lightroom. Hand held, full frame.

    Very nice John. I like the incoming water against the gulls leg and the prey takes it up a notch. Could be an immature Herring gull, but not too sure either. Love the POV.

    Hi John, excellent eye level capture here, and you have brought out the plumage on the Gull very well. I like the colours on this fellow, and that's a great eye. His crab meal is making me jealous.

    I would go for herring gull, well timed and the crab is a useful component to already interesting image.

    Way cool! I love the crab and water action around the leg. Great low angle. The long strip of vegetation along the bottom is unfortunate IMO, but overall this is nicely done.
