    Now this is a shot that I really wish I had. Harriers in the northeast are incredibly hard to approach. Even when in a car they will typically fly away from you. Everything here is great. Details, background, wing position, that head turn! What happened though, couldn't get it to open its mouth for you

    Lovely -- great BG, light, pose. I spent many cold days at local preserve last winter where we had a number of harriers but never had much luck, so very envious of this frame. Like the catchlight. TFS
