    Default Female Merlin

This frame is from a few year ago in SoCal with my buddy Dave. we used a vehicle as a blind and were able to get very close to this pretty merlin.

Hi Arash, wow even by your very high standards that is an incredibly sharp and detailed portrait! It seems the close approach enabled you to get the absolute best out of the optics, and it's amazing how good the L 600 II is when you see an image like this. Interesting pose as well - was the bird in the process of exercising or stretching its foot in this one, or was it just repositioning?
Simply beautiful, I always look forward to see what you come up with next.

Beautiful details, maybe juice up the yellow feet a bit?

You and Dave have certainly got these locations down to a tee - each shot from your trips out together seems to hit the spot perfectly.

As expected, the techs are nailed on, and the raised foot pose makes the shot so much more interesting that a standard 'bird on a stick' shot.

    Top notch work (again!)

Image quality on this is fantastic. About as good as I have ever seen out of any camera. I am not crazy about these feet up shots but this is still really nice. Background is great.

Sweet shot Arash, nice details, HA and BG, love the "talon" display.
