    Default Tropical Mocking Bird

    Here is a Tropical Mocking bird I photographed in Trinidad after the rain stopped. I like this inquisitive pose. They are not colourful birds mainly shades of grey, but have lots of character. I would appreciate your CCs.
    Rainy conditions
    Canon 5DMkiii, Sigma 150-600mm @600mm.
    F6.3, 1/1250, ISO 2500.
    Hand held
    Basic adjustments in LR, Cropped 25% from left, for composition.

    Hi Mike, good low perspective, and I like the inquisitive pose with the stretched neck. The bird is well placed in the frame, and I like the clean upper BG.

    The tilt in the neck is what appeals to me as well.

    Personally this is not my favourite pose, but I do realise it is one that has appeal to many. Good low angle and sharpness. The dark area could be tamed IMO.

    Are you referring to the dark area in the background top left?
