Captured quite a few images of this not so little Juvenile back in 2014 at Chincoteague Island. He or she was in the process of grooming while balancing on this tree stump. C&C welcome.

Oh. I had forgotten about this guy. Great one-legged open-beak pose, nice BG, good looking perch. To my eye it looks as if it could stand to be somewhat warmer and brighter (although as I recall he was in a shaded ditch). I might also take out the oof branches in the upper left. A nice frame worth the extra effort.

I love the perch! Good open-bill pose. Removing the branches in ULC, and adding back canvas at right, if you have it, would be improvements tot he comp IMO.

Nice one legged pose and open beak. I'd remove the two tings on the left and add some canvas to the right. TFS.

Thanks Bill. Yes he was in a shaded stream bed, and yes he was a bit under exposed in this frame. I opened approximately 1/2 a stop, on bird only and added a tad of contrast. Removed the ULC twigs and added more space on right per Daniel's and Lorant's request.Name: DSC_4417_02•••b-Chincoteague-Juvenile-White-Ibis.jpg

Repost is an improvement on an already lovely shot. I did think the original was a little dull in tone but was happy with the comp in the original. Thanks for sharing. Oh, and losing the ulc twig was a positive.

My first reaction was colour balance but repost is better, the background is very clean in the repost - nothing wrong with that but I do like the slightly untidy background in the original it looks more credible to me.
I think this is a very eye catching image I like it very much.
