Green Heron plucks out lucky winner of today's "get out of the pond" contest! It has been fun photographing this ultra tame individual - I'm sure that I could probably capture it barehanded if I tried (but obviously won't!!)
Canon 7DII + 500mm f/4 II + 1.4TC III, manual exposure, evaluative metering, 1/320s., f/7.1, ISO 1600, about 80% FF, a few specks in the water removed, darkened the reflections on the fish.
As expected, a technically perfect engaging image. Love the fish.
