    Cropped for a spread, so that the beak, fish and eyes will not fall into the middle of the spread, where they disappear into the binding of a book

    Great action and the composition really works for me! The image seems to have a fair amount of noise though.

    I love this composition. I agree with Doug about the noise, particularly behind the bird's back.

    Default With a blurring of the noise

    As I mainly work with large books (and large files) I didn't care to blur the background after sharpening the photo when downsizing it. These small photos are just for a quick viewing, I was thinking. Sorry. I hope this will be better.

    I concur with the others.....great crop but there is noise. Love that action and the angle of the head with the fish. I still see noise in the repost....noticeable in the underneath of the wings.

    Hi Brutus,

    Love the action and behavior. I would remove some of the noise as is very visible.
