Early Morning Ballerina - Yellow Crown Night Heron
I captured this image last week at Green Cay Wetlands in Delray Beach, Florida. I waited patiently for this juvenile to take off or to jump to another branch and was lucky enough to have some nice orange light helping.

Sweet light, pose, look at the eye, and a simple clean perch. I like the contrast between the yellows / oranges and the light blues. Details and catchlight are nice. No real nits from me on this one. TFS
Very well done Juan, great timing on the take off and the wide wings. Possibly a little too much orange, even given the lighting conditions but thats a subjective thing.
Nice details throughout, a good look at the eye, and just enough perch to show the take off point
Fabulous pose. Was AF active at the moment of exposure or did you pre-focus?
