Nice close-up Joe. Nice and sharp with good details. That tongue looks great.
I am sure you were wishing the fish's head was pointing your way!
Excellent choice of comp IMHO!

Was there much bird activity at Fort deSoto? Sure hope you are safe with Irma on its way.
Super shot lovely detail excellent focus I like the composition too.
I think most of us here in UK would only dream of getting a shot like that with 400mm.
Really nice! Good comp. I love the view of the tongue. Bummer the fish is not pointing this way. I'd likely warm up the image a tad if mine. Good stuff overall!

Thanks Gail, it appears like the hurricane might be moving away from us. I worry about the Burrowing Owls in Marco Island and Cape Coral getting flooded. Hope not. A lot of birds at Ft. De Soto now, migrants beginning to arrive.

Nice catch from both of you:). I wish the fish was facing us, but still great. On my screen the image is a little blueish...but I am using my laptop now. TFS.
