Another terrific Puffin shot: lovely light, great BG and a good calling pose. I like them both, but I think I prefer this one. In the previous one you gave him some more room to look into on the left, giving you more of the oof foreground.

Gorgeous with perfect processing and vibrant colors to go along with a great perch and a great BKGR.

Wonderful capture, Gail. Nice rich colors, and like that you were able to find him in front of such a beautiful BG. Love the open beak.

Agree - what a great shot Gail. The open bill does give it that little bit extra. Thanks for sharing.

What's not to like. I agree with all, beautiful bird, pose, perch and BG. Colours throughout are awesome. Yes, this one best.

I prefer this one to the one you posted a couple of weeks ago Gail. The reds and oranges are borderline too vivd for me, but maybe thats how the light was at the time.

Other than that, a really nice frame

    Hi Mike,
I did not touch the saturation slider in this image. It was beautiful morning light and I think that light up the feet. I see where you are coming from though and will certainly try a version with the legs tamed a bit. Thanks,
    Gail
