    Great catch, Matthew. That's not something you see very day, even if you live in northern hawk owl country. The snow in the air shows the force of the pickup, and the light is at an excellent angle for you. Nice drama to the image.

    Very nice image. This is one Owl I would love to see. I particularly like the snow particles that got thrown up.

    Very cool, excellent catch! I like the wing blur emphasizing motion and the look of concentration is quite evident. I personally would like to see the snow a bit brighter though.
