Hi John - A definite cute factor here. Nice to see a faster ss here. The light looks a little strong. If it were mine I would back off on the reds slightly and also the contrast.

Nice image. I like the eye contact. The light looks a bit harsh but you handled it well. A slightly lower POV would have been desirable but is not always possible.

Adorable little chap I like this image, John. Good techs and I feel you have achieved a nice compromise here, just enough separation from a busy BG and the face of the subject stands out quite nicely. Indeed a crowded frame but such is the environment where you found him/her. Cannot comment on colours as I have never seen the species, but I must say the greens do not bother me, to me they "mask" some of the wood and frame the subject quite well. POV works for me and eye contact is great.
Curious whether there were any siblings present, and was mom around too? Did you capture this early morning or late afternoon?
