    Default Bobolink, non-breeding

Well, it seems I've let another year slip by without getting a decent image of a male Bobolink in breeding plumage. I went out the other evening and found a few of the species in a local grassland, but either the males have headed south or have reverted to alternate plumage. This one is a bit of a large crop since the birds didn't want to come in as close as I had wished.

Lovely IQ and really beautiful background here, Bill, that contrasts nicely with the bird without jarring.

The BG here is great. Great HA.
Bird and IQ look good to me (I am on my laptop). I like the diagonal line created by the stem.
Do you have a bit more room on the bottom to include all of the leaf to the right of the stem? If yes, I would include it.

Good one, Bill. Nice detail and pose with late afternoon light. Like the BG also. I too hope you'll see one in full breeding colors next year.
