    Default Not The Prettiest...

This past week Dottie and I went to a couple of local lakes to see if there were any early arriving ducks. Not luck for early ducks but the usual tame birds were around. This image is one of the Muscovy Ducks from a feral population in Florida. Some would say ugly but I love the amber eye, not so sure about the red wattles. Comments and critique welcomed and appreciated. Thank you for viewing.

I agree that this is one ugly duck !! but you have shown him well.
Great IQ and detail. I like your comp as is and could see a version with a sliver more canvas on RHS. I would clone out the 2 white lines in front of chest and below the bill.

Hi Joe, excellent detail here, and pin sharp too. The light looks really nice.

Beautifully done Joe - but yes, not the prettiest bird! Great IQ and tones nicely rendered. Not much more to add here. I like the comp as it is.
