    Default Peregrine Falcon

Hi everyone. I have been very busy with work this season and haven't been able to participate as much lately. Looks like I have my priorities wrong

Here is another shot from this season. This is a juvie teircel (male) Peregrine from one of the two eyries that we shot this year.

I was fortunate to have caught him with a colorful background as he left the cliff and flew past us. I hope you like him.

Thanks as always for looking and for your input. I appreciate it.

Dave, this brings back memories especially now with the "summer slows".
Nice details and colors for an overcast day, love that colorful BG.

I love the BG. It is what makes this image "different".
Tack sharp, good comp. I can only imagine the technical skill needed to get these super fast fliers. I would be thrille just to get a falcon in the frame!
I would have preferred a better near wing view (aren't I picky!) but like everything else such as HA and fanned tail and dropped talons,

Hi Dave, well timed for the take off and against such a unique coloured BG. Tack sharp, and I like the view of the talons on the far foot. With any take off shot, I feel its the luck of the draw at what type of flight pose you are going come away with.

Really like the colors in the background. Nice pose on the bird as well.
