I was watching this Little Grebe bathing, which it continued doing for a short while. I had two choices, either up the ISO for more SS, or leave the SS as is, to show motion blur on the wings. I decided to leave as is. Another from my hide.

William, I'm partial to a bit of wing blur so this shot appeals to me. The bird's colours and muted background are lovely as is the catchlight. What a podgy little bird it looks in this shot - Kind of cute! Might be my imagination but is the background a touch noisy? If so, my be worth revisiting?

It is a lovely image Will. I like the motion blur on the wings and the muted lighting. Good feather detail and the reflection adds to it.

Hi Will, lovely low angle of capture, and I just love the little guys when they show off their tiny wings. Im fine with the partial reflection, but coming up from the bottom about a third improves the comp IMHO.
