Hi John - This is nice and simple. One of the best you have posted. If it were mine I would reduce the blues/cyans and greens coming through in the whites.

    TFS,
    Rachel

A beautiful image John. I only noticed that subtle colour cast after Rachel pointed it out so it wasn't a significant negative for me. Thanks for sharing!

Hi John -- Very nicely done , liked those details and sharpness in the image , though might gone for a higher iso for more ss, the 5D MK III can certainly handle it easily.

    TFS !

Great portrait John with the detail coming through, but you do need to address/get to grips with the initial colour. I would flip the image left to right as this has NO detrimental effect to the capture but the portrait will sit better IMHO and if it looks better then I do think folk should think about this. Just because you shoot it in one way you have the artistic licence to change things and not let it become a straight jacket.

Can only echo Haseeb's comment about ISO, you need to find the limits of the camera John otherwise captures may/will allude you at times.

Lovely Fawn portrait dear John, one of your best from what I have seen so far!

Hope you don't mind me repeating the above, I just notice you seem a bit reluctant to push ISO - try experiment a little and see what happens? I do realise you have a steady hand and the result is pretty sharp images. But there's more to choosing the ideal shutter speed, just think of obtaining a perfectly clean image every time and being able to freeze the moment (or movement)

Love this innocent face, gentle eyes and long whiskers. As well as perfectly aligned ears. Nice RP from Rachel sorting out a few colour cast issues. BG is lovely and helps subject stand out so well, good proportion in terms of framing and I completely agree with Steve regarding flipping.
Keep them coming please, I too think your PP skills have improved tremendously, so has your work in the field - very well done

    Kind regards,
    Gabriela Plesea

John - I'm going to add my 2 cents on flipping because I don't see a need to flip images. I prefer my images to reflect/document what I saw in the way that I saw it, which means no flipping.

John, very quickly done on the laptop and just for comparison in terms of 'flipping' the image, but also by removing the 'cast' the detail is far more apparent. Download the image and compare side by side.
