    here's the one i had all ready to go before i got off on a tangent with my flame lily. taken at little estero lagoon a few weeks ago. how distracting is the shoreline above his head?

    D300, Bigma at 320mm, f/8, 1/1250s, 0EV, ISO 400

    Hi, I think the top part that has a different color doesn't seem to be doing anything in this photo. But since you want more room up there, I'd try replacing it with the color of the water in the rest of the photo. I like the pose of the egret. At the same time though, it looks kind of soft to me.

    I agree, the shoreline detracts and I love the soft colors. Those guys are so much fun to watch!

    Hi Harold Just cut it out and extend canvas !!! Excellent pose ... one crazy bird !!! ... sure nailed the sun angle on this one !!!!

    Well I think that after today you should not have a problem adding canvas!!!!!!!!

    yeah, BUT, i'm probably the only dummy that has ever taken a PS class and doesnt own PS!!! soon!!
