Another one from a recent shoot in Wales, a bit more of a crop than I would have liked, nearly FF height from a horizontal original, but I think it just about holds up

Another beauty, Mike, although lacking the great fanned tail of the previous one. Nice bg and head turn.

Lovely shot Mike, I like the pose and colours very much. If you have reservations over quality why not reduce the crop a little, it could be argued the bird is quite large in the frame.

Another excellent shot. The IQ looks quite good to me. I like the lighting and your treatment of this. I feel more room on the left of the frame would help but otherwise another brilliant shot.

Love this one Mike. The Kite pops well against the BG. I really like the facial expression and the flight pose. Well done mate.

I don't see any problem with the IQ with this crop at all. Looks fantastic overall and I love the nice head angle and the Beautiful background. Very nice capture

Hi Mike, you are turning out some fine images, and this one is no different. Great eye contact, and I do like the overall flight pose with the angled head turn. Good DOF on the Kite, and love the coloured BG. Well captured.

You are rocking these kite images. No issue that I can see with this crop. Most BIF shots of a bird in this position are cropped as you did so no big deal for me. Very few people can do BIF flights with camera in portrait orientation!
Love the top side view and the HA.
