    Hi All,

This image was taken at Bear River Migratory Refuge couple of weeks ago.

    Nikon D500, 500mm f/4 + 1.4x TCII
    ISO 800, f/5.6, 1/3200 sec

    Post Processing:-

Cropped slightly to remove the grass to the left of the bird
Removed distracting elements in the water close to the bird

Let me know your comments on the same.

    Thanks

I like this. An unusual comp - most would have moved the bird further to the right -- but this has a certain dynamic feeling to it and good sense of habitat, with lots of room for him to move into.

Nice one -- agree with Bill that its not the usual crop but it works for me. I like the foot up and catchlight. It might help to clone out some of the darker OOF bits in the water but leave the green ones. TFS
