    Default Green Heron Taking Flight...

I captured these images at Circle B Bar Reserve in Polk County, Florida. After waiting for what seemed endless, finger getting tired holding focus, the bird finally took off in the right direction. This Green Heron leapt from the perch, with a couple quick wing flaps glided into the underbrush. Comments and critique welcomed and appreciated. Thank you for viewing.

WOW! You nailed every frame! You made the most of a wonderful opportunity.
The processing of these images seem better than the ones you posted in Avian. Did you do something different?

Hi Gail, yes I did do something different.. I reduced the clarity from +15 to +5 as you suggested in my other post. Thank you for the suggestion.

    This is absolutely stunning, Joseph!

Beautifully captured and processed and the framing is great.

Just a thought pertaining the sequence as such, looking at the bird's proximity to the branches I feel that image no 4 should be last?
Please forgive me for coming in so late, I have been away on business recently and now slowly catching up:) I agree with Gail, you really nailed this - congratulations! IQ is great and lovely colours, the light is just gorgeous

    Warmest regards,

    Warmest regards,
Hi Gabriela, thank you for viewing and commenting, very much appreciated. The images are posted in the order captured. I think the vegetation in the last image makes it appear they may be out of order. The bird flew at a slight downward angle, the last image has a different piece of vegetation than shown in the preceding image. I considered removing the vegetation but did not in the end. Thanks again, Gabriela.

Thank you Joseph. The sequence is awesome, I just found that last image a little confusing because of the branch. Amazing that you got so many frames with the BIF in focus and so sharp. The last frame is my favourite, I like the expression there from the heron

    Have a wonderful evening,

    Gabriela

Very nicely done Joseph. Very well captured take off sequence. I love the hairdos on these guys. The second to last frame is my fave.
