    Default Gannet in flight

A very straight forward shot of a Gannet in flight, although I think it's gone passed to far to the left? Love the way they just catch the up draft and almost hover in mid air.

Thanks to those who viewed or posted a comment on the previous image.

A good shot Steve, but yes, the moment just passed you. Fully in focus.

Pretty cool Steve, maybe past you, but I think the HA sort of makes up for it. Lovely detail and I like the dangly feet. Perfect exposure as usual.

I find, that I do prefer birds level with me, or approaching me. It has passed for me personally. What appears to salvage it a bit is the head angle itself slightly looking back. So it is not really that bad.

I hope you've been well mate (thanks for all the Africa suggestions too :) )

Thanks guys, but as I said, it was too far right and confirmed by you guys so thanks, but worth the post I thought. I'm hoping next month may rectify things, weather permitting .

    Hi Steve'

Booked the Giants Castle Hide for two days in July next year for just two of us....hopefully that will be good. We are also spending a couple of days around Cape Town (I hope to freedive with Great White Sharks if I can find someone mad enough to take me LOL) then Pilanesberg and Kruger. With my better half being South African, we need to do a few obligatory friend/family visits, but those will be inserted in between the wildlife photography sessions :D
