Nice flight angle, slightly toward you, with good dynamic forward wing position. The background is not your usual tern image, but it works for me.

Good wing position, and I like the shadow on the far wing. Neat BG. Just a bit more sharpening for web presentation would not harm the image at all. Congrats on getting the type of tern image you were looking for!

Well done Jay. Not an easy capture, but you did real good here. Nice feather detail and lovely detail on the bird against the BG colours.

I took my reading glasses off thinking they were not showing enough detail. Daniel is right, needs more sharpening for sure.
A beautiful image otherwise, as Gail mentioned the wing pose and BG. Totally agree with her.

Not sure if enough - but - here's what I came up with - trying to avoid that crunchy face...

Excellent image Jay, with the colorful BG the tern stands out much better than against they plain sky BG, he was at eye level too which is a bonus, the repost took care of sharpening and all looks good. I just wish there was more separation between the bill and the far wing

I think this one looks fantastic. Love the background and the nice pose. Exposure and details look great too. Very nice frame
