    Default Semipalmated Plover

While on a family vacation I took a late evening walk down the beach of Brigantine Island, in New Jersey. There were thousands of shorebirds up and down the beach and they were busy feeding and flying around. This Semipalmated Plover was photographed as it flew by me.

Canon 1DX and Canon 500 f4 ii + 1.4x iii. Hand held. ISO 640, F7.1, SS 1/3200. Cropped to vertical.

Processed with DPP 4.6.3 and PS.

Just beautifully captured, Issac. Like the banking dorsal view, and detail.

Wow!! Nice one Isaac. Love the pose and the perfect HA on this one. Nice details and colors and the graduated BG looks great too. Got to be happy with that one!!

Just about perfect from my perspective here Isaac, pin sharp, great wing position, little head turn for the camera and all this from a bird that is far from sluggish in flight - no nits at all from me
