This image was take at Bear River Migratory Refugee, Utah at time close to sunset.

Overall I am happy with the image except for the shadow in the wing.

Pretty much un cropped just moved the bird a little up in the frame

    Nikon D500, 500mm f/4 +1.4x TCII
    ISO 1250, f/5.6, 1/1250 sec
Matrix Metering, Manual Mode + 2 1/3 Exposure Compensation

    Neat Image for Noise Reduction
Targeted Exposure Adjustments using TK Panel.

I love to your thoughts and comments.

    Thanks

    Very nice wingspread.
    Nice and sharp. Lovely light.
I would like to see a bit more contrast on the bird or perhaps increase the blacks in the neutrals in selective coloring.
The sky is washed out because of the +2 1/3 EV ( correct thing to do!) and it looks like it was a really nice sky with that hint of wispy cloud. I would try to bring that back. You could selectively lower the exposure on the sky or my favorite trick is to DECREASE the luminance of the blues in LR.
    Nice frame,
    Gail

Thank you for the comments and feedback.

I added a bit of contrast to the bird and tried few things on the clouds.

    Below is the repost.
