This is not going to set the world alight, but I needed to get out this morning urgently with the kit, as it just all came back from Canon. So taking a stroll I came across two Mute Swans, plus it was also a good test bed in terms of the contrast in colour too, with the brighter whites and dark blacks.

A common bird but a very nice portrait regardless. I like the subtle looking up stare with the water drops on the head and falling. Excellent detail in both the whites and blacks and a nice BG to boot. TFS
Hi Steve, all good with the theme here, and love the eye contact. You certainly nailed the exposure on both the whites and blacks, tack sharp, and the droplets takes this over the top.
