I went back into last years files for some seal pups for this moths theme. Difficult to get down low at Donna Nook, but the fence is made of wooden stakes, so sometimes there are parts just about wide enough to shoot through to get down a little further.

Lovely detail mike, really sad expression, tugs at the old heart strings a bit this one!! I like your framing looks like another grey old day in blighty too. Mike I'm not sure quite how to articulate this ,but the wet sand it's texture it's profile and the whisker marks???? Plus the tonal graduation brightest on the fall off edge ,I find really appealing it makes tis one a tiny bit different for me,cool pov well done,i've read this is hard at donna.
cheers for posting, not a great fan of crowds but this is something I so want to see . Hmmmm

Hi Mike - There is something about the expression in the eyes of this one that really makes the image. Nice detail, sharpness and the dof works well.

Hi Mike, I like the way the pup just turns it's head towards you and those lovely 'glossy' eyes. To me there seems a lot of space within the choice format. I might suggest you try/look at a 10x8 coming more in from the LHS and a tad less on the RHS, not quite equal. It seems to pull the capture in due to being tighter I think???

That look is enough to soften anyone's heart and it certainly moves me, dear Mike. Very well captured, nice techs, well processed too. Lovely detail.

I too think you could get a little closer, the IQ is great and allows for a tighter comp.

Enjoyed viewing, very much. Thank you for sharing

    Kind regards,

Great work on getting second place in the August theme. I can't add anything more to the comments already made. Great shot!
