    I found this image that I took over a year ago while making room in my hard drive. I think it fits this month's theme well. It was captured at my local lake in Miami Lakes, Florida, with the Nikon D750 Handheld and AF-S Nikkor 200-500mm 1-5.6E ED VR

    IQ is excellent. Love the feather detail in the neck.
    Nice BG ( although I am not sure about the red/yellow/orange in RUC) and good comp. I would crop some of the orange/yellow area out. You have a lot of empty space up there and it would still give you a nice vertical comp.
    Suits the theme very well.

    Nice portrait here with good light. Good background and a nice composition.

    Very nice! Love the background, comp, details. It's fun to find gems like this when cleaning the drives eh!
