    Bright overcast conditions, with the winds just strong enough and in the right direction to allow for a slight hover before landing, which certainly helped with wing positions. I do wish the fish was pointing this way, especially that the head was still intact!

    Canon 7DII + 500mm f/4 II, manual exposure, evaluative meetering, 1/2500s., f/4, ISO 1600, natural light, handheld, small crop for comp, remove some electrical hardware at right, deepened the blacks and enhanced the eyes.

    I like this Daniel. Really good job capturing this image against the bright sky. Agree with you that having the fish facing the other way would have put this picture over the top. Thank you for sharing.

    Another high key image! ( see my comment on Isaac's image!)
    Love the pose but really like how you have managed to minimize the often ugly nests these ospreys have.
    I feel like the browns should be more saturated.

    The nest gives the image some nice depth. Love the wing position here. Nice and sharp i agree with Gail about the browns.
