    Default Waterhole sky

My recent trip to Mana & Hwange was fairly quiet on the sightings front with just one Wild Dog encounter, but the number and quality of elephant in Hwange partially made up for some of that.

    Here was one highlight,

cropping for just the waterhole reflection and flipping the image to create more than just another waterhole sunset.

    K2 waterhole, Hwange NP- Zimbabwe.

Cropped for reflection only, bean bag- front pax seat, curves, levels, TK adj's in ACR & PS CC'17

I like the creative thinking behind this image. I don't know if it works for me. But it sure is interesting.

A different perspective & I think it works. I like the silhouette of the eyes & that lovely sky. TFS.

Hi Marc - Nice use of the wide angle lens. The image has a dramatic feel and the clouds and reflected sunset colors are nice. I want the reflected eles to be sharper. I also wonder if this belongs in the OOTB Forum.

    TFS,
    Rachel

    Thanks Rachel,

Perferably would have liked them sharper also, but that's totally dependent on water stillness & refraction, and I did think about OOTB after sending, so happy to have it placed there.
