    Hi all,

Taking a break from puffins, here is an oystercatcher in flight taken about a month ago at Sandy Hook ~hour or so after sunrise. In post, standard LR sliders for me, cloned out a bit of rope on the bottom, and then a slight crop, a bit of NR on BG and sharpened in PS.

    Camera: Nikon D500
    Lens: 200-500mm f/5.6 at 500mm
    Specs: 1/2500 ISO 1000 f/5.6

Thanks for looking and commenting on prior posts!

Sharp and well done with a good exposure. I would not mind the bird a bit farther back in the frame.

Lovely light, and I like the combination of trees, clouds and sky in the BG.

    Really nice Alex.
OC is nice and sharp with a good body and wing position. Hard to get a flight shot of these birds.
Nice BG (like the pink cloud)and good light.
An image comp is such a subjective issue- I like your comp but could see a bit tighter with some off the left and top.

Thanks all for commenting and critiquing -- very much appreciated. I'll revisit the crop and see which I like more. Thanks all,
