    Default Incoming Egyptian Goose

I visited my local pond in Pretoria on Saturday morning, and came away with this Egyptian Goose seemingly coming in too fast. These guys are fairly loud when communicating with each other, but fun to photograph with their dramatic flying poses. Taken early morning.

We have an escapee that has lived free for many years local to me, and I can fully concur with the noises and the general 'character' you mention!

Lovely light - even the shadow on the far wing has fallen well - and I love the almost out of control pose.

    Nice work

    Mike

Love the lit up eye and the sharpness, and the background is great. You caught that Goose's personality (Goosenality?)!

It's all about the light and it's angle and this one has both, not to mention the fact that the details and flight pose looks fantastic too.
    Very nice Stu
