    Bean bag lying prone at the pondside.
    Canon 1DX Canon 100-400 L IS II & 1.4TC III
    ISO 1250 1/500 sec f8
    Image captured at my back garden pond, I have had a pretty lean year compared to previous, hopefully things will pick up.

    Matt the 100-400 II L IS & 1.4TC III is very useful for dragons and butterflies I am using it increasingly frequently because the combination is so flexible, at minimum focus at the 400 end it must be somewhere around 1:3

    Cool capture of this interesting behavior and that lens combo clearly is very sharp! I like the low shooting angle and the clean background. If mine, I'd be tempted to crop some from the left as the bright areas there are drawing my eye. Very nicely done!

    I agree Steve, it seems that once the small log has been in the water for several weeks it undergoes a colour change resulting in a very contrasting appearance. I will look at reducing contrast in future.
