This is nice Frank.
The BG is beautiful and I like the light and the angle of the light.
Very nice how the eye is lit up.DOF, POV and IQ are excellent.
I am not crazy about the comp on the RHS of frame.
I would come in from the right to show only a sliver of leg. My personal taste of course,
Gail

Hi Frank, lovely image... one of my favorite birds in Florida. I echo Gail's comments. Thank you for sharing.

Well done Frank. I like the way the soft light hits the face. You captured the beautiful colors well, also a nice background. I would be tempted to go with Gail's suggestion on cropping in from the Right.

Truly beautiful bird shot and background to match. I too think a little off the left of the frame would be worth a try.

Hi Frank, super alert pose, and that head is tack sharp. Killer colours in the BG, and I agree with Gail on the comp.

Seems we all have the same ideas - I too would crop a little off the right.
The rest of the shot os wonderful with the rich colours and the sharp details against a nigh on perfect background.

I'll be the odd one out in liking it as composed. Very rich tones and contrast, and good details.
