    Very neat, and a lovely pose on both mother and child. The perch fits both birds well, nice comp. Not sure of the true colours on the birds, as we don't get them over here, but look a wee bit reddish on my monitor. Maybe the light at the time of course. Very nice Dan.

    Hi Dan,
    Long time no see. Welcome back!
    Always a treat to get 2 birds tack sharp in a frame.
    I am not crazy about the square comp and would prefer a more traditional landscape orientation. I am guessing there was "crap" that you wanted out of the frame.
    I would tone down the white blob in LLC.
    The squiggly branch adds some nice lines to the image.
    I like the windswept crest on the adult and the really fresh feathers of the juvie. Your image shows the differences nicely,
