    Captured this silky feathered beauty last month at a local wildlife preserve. He or she was dining on red berries nearby. C&C welcome.

    D500, Nikon 500mm f4/G + 1.4 TC, 1/640s, f 7.1, ISO 3200, ff @ -3.0EV, Gitzo, Wimberley Gimbal head.

    Removed a distracting branch in cs6.

    Hi Geoffrey. The waxwings are pretty smooth but id like to see a bit more detail throughout. MAybe more noise reduction as well.

    Hi Ann. I've already applied quite a bit of NR, and there is more feather detail, but tough to bring it out without bringing back noise.
