Hi Keith, back up in 'God's own Country' as we now have two owlets in the Orchard so am on the laptop which is not ideal, however...
Love the drystone wall and the moss/lichen, cool pose and the way the tail curves down. Techs look good, but I would have gone straight to f/8 and just upped the ISO a fraction more. Framing looks good, but for me I might have added a sliver more to the RHS, but no deal breaker.
Now being on the laptop I could well be off, however warming the Temp up, and moving the Tint also to the RHS, adding a third of a stop exp, lifting the Shadows and dropping the HL & Whites, I feel you start to see more of the original capture. Dropping the Blue avoids the fringing around the finer hairs of the tuffs & tail, WDYT?
Keith, I'll be back in a weeks time, if you want a quick refresher course on things let me know, just fire off a RAW and we can work on it together over the phone.
Thanks for the repost Steve, agree about the blue even though I thought I had removed enough, not so sure about the colour of the Squirrel it looks a bit orange on my monitor and like you say it was on your laptop.Would love to do a bit next week if you have the time and thanks a lot for your offer.
Keith.
