    Here's another from my Ontario trip. The perch is of his choosing...

    Shutter speed: 1/400 sec
    Aperture: 9
    Flash: On - 1 flash on camera for fill
    ISO: 400
    Focal length: 500mm + 1.4x

    Sweet all over, specially the way the bird is framed with the branches. You know I like our framings :) Green and blue is an excellent color palette too.

    Hi Glenn!

    I think this is an excellent example of how to handle "blues". Great detail, as it is far too easy to oversaturate. Nice soft light ... maybe brighten up the face some? Very nice!

    I think the converging lines of the perch are key elements in this composition. The Bg clour compliments very, very well the superb plumage of the bird under a soft and sweet light. Love the sharpness, the head turn and the crisp eye. One to be proud Glenn and what a beauty of bird species!
