    Hi John - I like the backlighting coming through the ears. The flowers in the mouth really add to the image for me but the face looks soft. Again, you need to go for more ss in the field. Also, I would crop from the bottom to eliminate the half leg. I'd rather have the whole leg and a bit more room or a tighter shot with no leg.

    Dear John,

    Love the pose from the Fawn and the flowers, as well as those visible veins in the ears:)

    If this was mine I would try lessen the brightness of the vegetation in the BG. And Rachel is right - the subject looks a tad soft - the reason for this is lack of shutter speed.

    Keep experimenting, you obviously enjoy spending time out there with wildlife. Don't forget to watch the histogram and make sure you have enough SS - then you're all set!
