    Great minds think alike on posting times . I had pretty similar light to this 2 of the days I was there and you've handled it well here. Details look good and nice look at the eye and fish in the mouth. Shooting angle was good too. I like the flared wingtips. I think I would prefer just a bit more room on top and less below, but I often go back and forth on how to crop with this wing position. If willing, I would clone or crop out the black bit in the lower LHC. Nice one Jonathan. TFS

    Very well done in difficult light. I found myself praying for overcast skies when shooting these puffins. And it has to be lightly cloudy- not dark cloudy because then,it is hard to get the shutter speed up.
    I like the sharpness and the IQ. Nice looking eye with clearly defined pupil.
    Not my favorite wing position but nice to see the flared wingtips.

    Agree with previous observations, esp the wing position. The bokeh is just a bit busy.

    These guys are such characters, always fun to see them doing their thing!
