This is one from Thursday, from my visit to the Bass Rock, the worlds largest northern gannetry, with over 150,000 birds. You get a one hour boat trip, which includes about 15 mins, sailing around the rock. We couldn't have picked a worse day, with stormy skies and a blustery wind, which made the boat rock quite a bit. I think, next time, hiring a private boat, and spending a few hours at The Rock, would be much better.

    Hi William,
This is a nice image with good wing position. The overcast skies allowed for some soft light and the techs look great. TFS.

Will, nice shot even with the bad conditions, I would have been tossing my cookies on a boat like that.
    Nice wing position and details.

Hi Will, like the Gannet and the downward stroke of the wing, cracking detail in there too. I just wondered, have you added some blue to the image for the sky, as reducing the Blue and fractionally upping the Temp & dropping the Tint perhaps may provide a 'cleaner' bird and a more 'overcast', yet flat light to the BKG???

Thanks guys, much appreciated. Hi Steve, I'll have a look at the BG again. It was various colours, stormy looking. No blue added, but I can see where you are coming from. Thanks for that.
