It's not enough that these guys look very handsome, they also have one sweet song to go with it!

Canon 7DII + 500mm f/4 II + 1.4TC III, manual exposure, evaluative metering, 1/400s., f/5.6, ISO 1600, natural light, handheld, small crop to help the comp, darkened the pupil, also darkened the brightest parts of the leaves. Audio used to coax the bunting closer.

Yup, you did it again. I think if someone spread a bunch of images containing some of yours I could pick them out. Simple, lovely, and perfect. Nice composition, perfect background, techs spot on. Thank you for sharing.

    Daniel:

Looks like he is singing his heart out for you. Excellent pose, soft bg, leaf luminosity adjustment.

    Cheers

Great looking pose perch and the bird just pops against the subtle and soft BG. Agree with Joseph that this is a very 'signature' image which is very cool. TFS

Great singing pose, very nice light, and beautiful smooth BG, Daniel. It's as if he's taken a deep breath for a high note.

I really like this one Daniel. Love these birds and was quite disappointed that on my 2 visits to my favorite spot for them this year that they were distant and non responsive. Love the soft background and the details on the bird. Very nice.

lovely perch, background, and behavior. like the great control over highlights and shadows on perch and dark-colored feathers.

    This is lovely Daniel.
I love the soft diffuse light and I find the amount of foliage just perfect for my taste.
Blues look really good as well,
    Gail
