    Default Cape vulture

Another photograph of a Cape vulture that I made during my resent trip to Giant's Castle. I liked the seemingly aloofness of the subject and included a small rock to the left to balance the image a little.

I love the composition, balance and background of this image, Geurt, but it looks a little bright on my monitor.

I like the pose you got on this bird, but it could have turned its head for you a wee bit more now eh? :-). I'd suggest cropping at right up to where the perch ends, and I'd also eliminate the dark spot above the head. I also like the grasses on the rocky perch.

Very interesting composition and setting. It could go a bit darker and I agree with Daniel regarding the dark spot above the head that could go as well as the three light spots right of it.

Beautifully composed, but you could have moved a couple of feet to your right if possible to avoid the merging of the head with the green patch. Good looking bird and BG, great colors!

Beautifully designed but the BKGR behind and to the right of the bird's head is distracting. Good job also on the head turn. The rest of the BKGR is way sweet. If it fits with your personal ethics, you could do some work on the background near the head...
