    Hi John,
    I like this close up look. Nice sharpness within your DOF and critical focus is where it should be. Water drops really add a point of interest also. Well done.

    John I think this is very good indeed. We very often get close ups of dragons or damsels and wish for this or that but this is spot on for me. That is because the eye of course is sharp, so is the front of the head and the fine bristles, the thorax is just off focus but that is fine, pretty much what you might expect but I love the sharp water droplets on the forewing. Well done. Colours look very natural.
