I was in Colorado for the July 4th weekend. The image posted here shows some random "hills" on the way to Grand Lake but the light was beautiful and the lifting clouds just framed the scene nicely in my eyes. Would love to hear your thoughts about it.

150mm, f/8, 1/1000, ISO 320. Raw conversion in LR and then processed in Photoshop with luminosity masks.

    Hi Adhika

Well seen..! I do like this sort of sort of mountain scene and its good to go in with the longer glass and just pick out the good bits.. My only suggestion is that for me its a little bright on the rock face and I would prefer to have it more like the repost ... Not sure what you think? All I did was to use a curves layer and drop the lower mids very slightly...

Thanks, Don! Love the suggestion. I ran with that idea, what do you think?

PS. I want to get your advice on several ideas, do you mind PM-ing me your email address?

Very nice Adhika.....I too like the longer lens for extracting such details...the opening in the clouds allows us to see the mountain beautifully...I prefer Don's repost as I think I am seeing a touch of blue / cyan cast in the clouds in the lower right corner of the image. Toning down the brightness on the mountain face looks great!
