Hi John - A cute eating pose and finally enough room below. I wish the oof knot wasn't front and center or at least was in focus if it was. If it were mine I would back off on the sharpening on the rest of the tree trunk and also crop or clone (whichever you prefer) the dark area in ulc. There's a lot of chromatic aberration/blue fringing coming through in the tail and fur along the back. Sharpness of the squirrel looks good.

Rachel

Beautiful composition with the tail position and feeding.
Hi John, love the curve of the tree as a natural perch, nicely framed too. The knot is a bit unfortunate and perhaps moving position may have helped reduce the prominence of it?
Overall the subject looks 'dark' through Contrast, dropping the Contrast brings far more 'life' back into the subject, more detail, likewise adjusting the shadows & some white. The blue fringing isn't through CA, just you added a lot of blue to the image in Saturation for the sky I guess, take it out it's all gone.

Very nice fur detail, plus the pose and the catchlight in the eyes. I like the frame made by the tree, it adds a natural look.
