Canon 1DX 700 mm 1/2500 f/6.3 ISO 320 handheld manual
This is a shot I normally take with terns, but I have also taken a few with ospreys over the years.
Thanks for looking.

Well done to get the shake. I like the spray and the bit of white cloud on the bottom of the frame.
Nice and sharp.
I just wish the nictitating membrane was not there but fully understand and appreciate that the eye is always like this during a shake. Just wish the osprey knew to keep the eye clear during a shake when being photographed!
Nice to see the head still on the fish and a bit of eye visible,
Gail
Very nice Tim, and a very unusual flight pose. Lovely detail on the bird and prey. I like the spray, which, along with the cloud, adds to the blue in the BG.

Very cool shot, Tim and the water and clouds are big plus to the image! Yeah, also wishing the membrane is not there.
never seen this behavior from an Osprey, pretty cool frame Tim just wish for a bit softer light

Hi Tim, well timed to have captured the shake. With the shaking behaviour, I like the flying droplets, and we have a clear view of the talons on the right foot. I do like the inclusion of the cloud in the LRC.
