    Default Anhinga With Fish...

I was at Circle B Bar Reserve capturing images of Egrets and Spoonbills landing at a drying pond. This Anhinga with fish impaled broke the surface, quickly I captured a couple image before it disappeared. The settings I had on the camera underexposed the dark bird and fish. I have worked on and off trying to recover the image. This appears to be about the best I can do. Comments and critique welcomed and appreciated. Thank you for viewing.

It looks like the ANhinga is holding the fish like a trophy, Joe. I think this is an interesting image but for some reasons some things just do not click for me.... Hopefully others would be able to pinpoint to the reason behind it. I would be very curious to know and would like to hear!

Glad you got the moment, technical imperfections aside. Silhouette-like.
